Lake Road Estate Gisborne Pinot Gris 2023 reflects the rich heritage of Lake Road Wines, a family-owned producer with more than four decades of winemaking history in New Zealand. Situated on the eastern edge of the country in the sun-drenched Gisborne region, the vineyards are among the first in the world to see the light of each new day. This abundance of sunshine encourages early ripening and produces fruit with generous tropical character, vibrant aromatics and excellent flavour concentration.

In the glass, the wine displays a bright pale straw hue with youthful clarity. The nose is elegantly lifted, revealing aromas of ripe peach and Asian pear with delicate floral hints that reflect the warm coastal influence of Gisborne. The palate is smooth and softly textured, delivering concentrated orchard fruit flavours balanced by gentle freshness and a clean, refreshing finish.
